Redmist – Improvise Wisely

After a year of hard work, Cut & Paste proudly presented the work of Redmist – one of Chile's leading scratch musicians.

Improvise Wisely is a sample library made specifically for scratchers who play scratch music. The sounds are laid out in a geometric pattern that makes moving between them much easier.

The samples were recorded at +50% speed, so the producer put a lot more work into polishing their sound than on a regular battle break.

Both sides have skipproof phrases grouped by instrument (drums, bass, synth, vocals and more), arranged with the narrowing of the grooves towards the centre of the record in mind.

Both sides end with tone lock grooves you can pitch-play on forever. A perfect tool to use with a loop station!
